Space Hulk contains numerous counters that are required during game play. This page describes the process for creating the all of the counters needed for your travel Space Hulk project.
Create Blips
Create a graphic for the back side of the Genestealer blip counters and print them on sticker paper. Each blip should be 1 cm x 1 cm. Next, print the Genestealer numbers (all of the 1's, 2's, and 3's in the quantities from the original game) on regular printer paper with each square being 1 cm x 1 cm. Make sure that the numbers are small enough to be visible through the square magnets with circular holes. Cut out these squares and apply to the sticky side of the magnets with the numbers visible through the circular holes. Next, stick the back side of the blips to a sheet of thick black cardboard and cut out the squares. Finally, apply a small amount of tacky glue to the backs of the magnets that you've just used for the numbers and stick them to the back side of the squares that you just created. You may wish to apply a small amount of laminate to the tops of the blips to ensure that they resist damage during handling.
Create Other Counters
Create graphics for the remainder of the counters and print them on a sheet of sticker paper and print the images. Most counters should be 1 cm x 1 cm. Apply the sticky side of the counters to a piece of thick black cardboard. Cut out the shapes and apply to the magnetic paper. You may wish to apply a small amount of laminate to the tops of the counters to ensure that they resist damage during handling.
